My company's establishment pertains to insurance. The facet of the company which I support is a call center environment offering Sales and Service for Personal Automobile and Homeowners coverage.

Our technology environment utilizes SNET as the local company, AT&T as our inbound long distance provider and Sprint for outbound facilities. Our PBX is an Avaya switch (version 9.5). We are also utilizing the Quintus CTI application for call routing.

Presently, our parent office in Hartford, CT, utilizes SDC's Intellidesk® application for the operator function. To streamline processes/redundancies, the decision was made to integrate Southington's information into one repository for ease of use and better business management.

Technology is at the crux of The Hartford's thoughts on innovation as it changes the face of how we do business and creates that distinctive, exceptional service required to achieve "The Hartford Experience." The SDC Team played a very intricate role by modifying the existing IntelliDESK application to accommodate the new business model. They were very flexible and accommodating with testing. It turned out to be a win-win situation for all.
